Speed Roulette

A classic among live games, European roulette is one of the most popular games, thanks to the simplicity of its rules and the immediacy of its spins. With the arrival of cryptocurrencies, roulette was the very first live casino game to accept bets in Bitcoin, thus providing a layer of anonymity in online gaming that was not possible before. Another major advantage of online roulettes lies in the ability to offer many variants that cannot be found in brick-and-mortar casinos. Among these is Speed Roulette with a live dealer, launched by Evolution in 2017. This game offers two spins per minute, taking into account the time needed to place bets, which is obviously not achievable in a physical casino. Speed Roulette is therefore aimed at players who prefer spins conducted with a traditional wheel, with the dealer manually introducing the ball, all at a very fast pace.

How Does Evolution's Speed Roulette Work?

The main feature of Speed Roulette is the extremely high frequency of spins, with only 28 seconds separating two rounds, of which 12 seconds are dedicated to placing bets. To achieve this result, the ball is launched manually while bets are still being placed. This overlap allows for a few precious seconds to be saved, eliminating the typical downtime of a roulette spin.

All other aspects of European Roulette, as offered by Evolution through its comprehensive interface, remain unchanged.

Wide Range of Bets:The Speed Roulette player has access to all possible bets offered in Evolution's interface. This includes inside bets (straight up, split, street, corner, six line), outside bets (column, dozen, red/black, even/odd, low/high), and neighbor bets. The minimum bet is set at $0.50.

Autoplay: The twelve seconds to place bets may become insufficient to make these bets at every round. More than on any other online roulette, saving favorite bets and using autoplay prove particularly useful in Speed Roulette. By selecting the number of roulette spins they wish to participate in without having to bet each time, players can choose between 5, 9, 25, 50, or 100 rounds.

Statistics: Clicking on the histogram located at the bottom right of the game screen provides access to a rich database of statistics based on the last 500 spins, as well as graphs highlighting hot numbers and those that are lagging behind.

Payouts: The rules of Speed Roulette do not affect the payout structure. The return to player is consistent with the European roulette rate, set at 97.30%, and payouts adhere to the usual rules.
