Lightning Storm

Live fortune wheels are the games that gather the most players. Beyond the potential winnings, which can be thousands of times the stake, these wheels are appealing because they allow participants to be both spectators of an exhilarating show and place bets. Launched by Evolution in July 2024, Lightning Storm is a wheel that combines a maximum of special effects through its five bonus games on the electrifying theme, well-known at Evolution for its multipliers.

How does Lightning Storm differ from other wheels ?

Even though it is designed by Digiwheel, the company that created the other fortune wheels for Evolution, the Lightning Storm wheel differs in many ways. It has 39 sections compared to 54 for Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, or Dreamcatcher. Some sections bear the Evolution logo's leaf symbol, which pays 1:1. The destination to a bonus game is predominant as it occupies 20 out of 39 sections, or 51% of the sections. Therefore, bonus games are frequent and varied, with five different types: Battery Charger, Hotspot, Fireball, Monster Mash, and Lightning Storm. Stunning animations and special effects illustrate the wheel during its rotation. It should be noted that only bonus games can receive a multiplier, which is applied to the section during the wheel's spin after the random distribution of bonus games on the 21 segments. The Lightning Storm wheel is always manually spun by a presenter, under the eager eyes of thousands of online players

What are the bonus games in Lightning Storm ?

Battery Charger: A conveyor belt moves batteries, each bearing a multiplier. To benefit from the energy they contain in the form of a multiplier, the presenter must manage to spin a minidisc into the green zone. If none of the batteries yield a result, the player receives the multiplier of the last battery.

Monster Mash: This bonus game has a bit of a Frankenstein feel and is presented as a large upside-down slot machine. The three enormous reels create a monster with three body parts: head, torso, and legs. The multipliers for each body part can add up or multiply if they are gold pieces.

Fireball: This is probably the bonus game with the most pleasant surprises. It appears simple, as it is completely devoid of software or even electricity to operate. A red ball is released from its basket by the presenter, and the multiplier on which the ball stops determines the winnings. The dozens of spots at the base of the game reveal high multipliers, showcasing Fireball's potential.

Hotspot: A large grid filled with hidden multipliers. The challenge is to choose the area hiding the most powerful multipliers. The participant's goal is to guess the hotspot that gathers the high coefficients. A second chance to double their winnings is possible with multipliers moving randomly across the screen.

Lightning Storm: This is the main bonus game and the anticipated culmination for all players. It is the key game to benefit from theoretical multipliers that can reach up to 20,000 times the stake. It represents a form of achievement, being one of the most challenging to reach with only one section covered by the red triangle. The sequence begins with an elevator ride to the top floor of a building. The player can then see, like a giant sign, eight multiplier amounts that have a chance of being applied after choosing one of three lightning energies, all in an unforgettable rock atmosphere signed by the band Scorpions.
